Casa del Camba has two locations, one on Ave. Cristobal de Mendoza in the city and the new one just across Rio Piray, that offers great sights of the river. The restaurant has amazing food and a great atmosphere. The restaurant's theme gives you a 100 years ago in Santa Cruz feel, where waiters wear a straw hat, white shirt and black pants. The food is authentic Bolivia cuisine, where you can eat varieties of meat, rice and vegetables.

Santa Maria has numerous locations throughout the city. They serve up the best hamburgers in town, that is a favorite among locals. Hamburgers are about the size of a salad plate and come in a variey of meats. Hamburgers cost 13bs ($1.75).

Michelangelo is on Avenida Chiuisaca and Sulvatierra near the city center, look for a blue building. The restaurant offers some of the best Italian food in the city. The atmosphere is cozy, with a romantic feel to it and service is top notch.

Restaurant Vegetariano on 24 de Septiembre, offers a buffet of organic vegetables.

Rincon Brasilero on Calle Libertad, offers good Brazilian food.
