Cochabamba Nightlife & Entertainment

Since Cochabamba is full of university students, the nightlife is very active and there are many places to go for a good night out. Typically Thursday-Saturday nights are the hoppin nights.

There are three main areas for Nightlife entertainment in Cochabamba that cater to different crowds. The wealthier Cochabambinos head to Boulevard Recoleta, just east of Plaza Anza and just north of Rio Rocha. This street is lined with upscale restaurants, bars, and cafes.

Some of the trendy spots for bars, clubs and live music are the streets between Plaza 14 de Septiembre and Plaza Colon such as Calle Espana, Ecuador and Colombia.

Also the main boulevard Avenida Ballivian, also known as El Prado, is where you'll find a line of bars, clubs, discos, karaoke and restaurants.
